Membership Benefits

The International Breathwork Training Alliance (IBTA) mission is an organization that reflects integrity of principles and ethics and provides professional breathwork standards of training. An international board of trainers has met to create a quality organizational structure and valuable benefits package for its members and supporters. We believe this is a major step in the evolution of breathwork as a professionally recognized healing and growth modality.

 

We are accepting applications in the following categories for yearly memberships:
(Please note: Fee for current IBF members is $25 less for certified Practitioner and School/Training Program Categories.)

 

Affiliate Member. Affiliate Membership is available to the general public, students of breathwork and non-IBTA certified practitioners who support the Ethical Practice of Therapeutic Breathwork and agree to the Ethical Standards Procedures.

  • Listing of name and city/state/country (optional)
  • Subscription and full access to IBTA eNews
  • Membership in a professional breathwork organization

Certified Practitioners. Breathwork practitioners and trainers who have fulfilled the IBTA recognized professional standards for breathwork training and agree to uphold the IBTA Ethical Standards.

Benefits:

  • Listing of name, contact information and 30-word bio on the website
  • Subscription and full access to IBTA eNews
  • Access to past years issues of “The Healing Breath” e-Journal

  • Use of IBTA dated logo on promotional materials
  • IBTA Certificate of Membership
  • Discount on IBTA events
  • 30 minute complimentary telephone/Skype business coaching session with Helaine Iris – Board Member (to be used within 60 days of your initial membership)
  • One free 30 minute “Welcome Call” with an IBTA board member. We invite you to tap the wisdom, expertise and experience of the IBTA leadership: ask questions, receive supervision, or discuss anything that is important to you about breathwork. Your call comes with your initial membership. The Membership Coordinator will tell you the options for connecting with the board member to whom you are assigned.

School/Training Program. A breathwork School/Training program that offeres trainings in compliance with the IBTA standards of breathwork training for the last two years and upholds the IBTA Ethical Standards.

The IBTA Board of Directors is particularly interested in learning of breathwork schools/training programs trainers and practitioners who may become resources to a wider community. Our future vision is of a members’ online forum innovative publications and professional conferences.
