Griet is an experienced and certified Breathwork therapist (GPBA) since 2008, with an individual practice in Austria and Belgium. Her training in both breathwork and dance/movement therapy formed the basis for a holistic approach in her work with clients. She is an accredited trainer in Integrative Somatic Breathwork, and a recognized facilitator of Open Floor Embodied movement and Therapy in Motion (OpenFloor.org), supervisor and mentor. She is a dedicated professional within the field of body-oriented and somatic therapy.
Her approach is pragmatic, trauma-informed and experience-oriented.
Griet combines various methods, where learning to regulate our nervous system and strengthening one’s own resources and inner autonomy are crucial.
A session can be a combination of conscious connected breathwork, myofascial release techniques, embodied movement, and/or working with constellation, visualization and meditation.
Always embedded in a safe “enough” space, set up through the therapeutic relation and the clients individual intention.
