Briana Lynn Cerezo
I’m a trauma-informed breathwork guide and somatic practitioner with over 20 years of experience in helping professions. My work centers on creating safe, attuned containers where individuals and groups can reconnect with their bodies, process emotion, and build capacity for sustainable change.
I specialize in Holosomatic Breathwork and somatic practices that prioritize choice, consent, and nervous system empowerment. My approach is therapeutic-paced, invitational, and rooted in titration and interoceptive awareness—supporting people to access depth without overwhelm.
I work with:
– Individuals navigating life transitions, burnout, trauma recovery, and identity shifts
– Small groups and community settings
– Wellness clinics, retreats, and integrative care teams seeking body-based modalities that complement clinical work
My background bridges traditional academia, non-profit work, and deep study in many embodied healing practices. I began my career as a crisis intervention specialist while earning my B.S. in Human Development and Family Sciences, then spent years in nonprofit fundraising supporting high-risk youth. These early roles shaped my grounding in relational safety, ethics, and systems-aware care.
In my private practice, sessions may include orienting, functional breathing, somatic mapping, movement, and (when appropriate) expanded-state breathwork—always guided by consent, pacing, and participant agency. I collaborate with therapists and medical practitioners and often support therapeutic-psychedelic preparation and integration.
I’m especially passionate about helping people move out of self-abandonment, over-functioning, and disconnection—and into embodied presence, sovereignty, and trust in their own inner wisdom.
