Integral Breath Therapy (IBT)

The Integral Breath Therapy (IBT)Facilitator Training was established in 1997. It is a body-centered program designed for professionals looking to transform their personal lives. The altered state of consciousness created through the use of the breath brings unconscious issues into awareness, enabling the participant to release held emotions and stress, heal unresolved trauma, relieve stress, and address a belief system that was taken on early in life.

The IBT modality rapidly brings old and hard-to-reach issues, patterns, or traumas to conscious awareness for release and integration. By using specific tools and techniques, the individual can progress rapidly to a level of greater understanding, health, and vitality. IBT uses a variety of techniques along with breath to achieve deep and profound healing. Integration and unification result as blocks are cleared and the individual reclaims personal power.

The IBT Training Program is a somatic-based therapy that will add a new dimension to your practice as a counselor, health care provider, educator, or coach. The program is divided into two separate trainings consisting of 6 days each. The foundation Course is the introduction to the basics of the IBT model. The Certification Process is preparation for professional certification. IBT- The Foundation Course

This 6-day, 55-hour foundation course is an introduction to the IBT model, you will learn the basics of the modality. You will personally experience the transformative abilities and therapeutic benefits of IBT. This professional training includes tools for your personal growth and development.

• About the breath and its relationship to life, death, and disease.

• The history of IBT and its contemporary applications for personal development.

• About IBT as a physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual process.

IBT – The Certification Process

This 6-day, 55-hour certification intensive prepares you to effectively facilitate individual IBT sessions with clients. Certification support is provided with online supervision as you complete your case study. Practice with supervision and written feedback supports professionalism. Learn to effectively facilitate one-on-one sessions as a certified IBT facilitator with completion of the Foundation, Certification course and practicum requirements.

The Advanced IBT Training

This 6-Day program is designed for Health Care Professionals who have attended the complete Integral Breath Therapy (IBT) Training program.

The purpose of this training is to teach advanced techniques, work more directly with the energy of the body, clear and release personal issues at a deeper level. The additional skills presented will add a new dimension to your practice as a health care provider. Designed as a residential training in order to create time and space for profound personal renewal.

IBT Master’s Program

This level is designed for those who are dedicated to the Integral Breath Therapy modality. Comprised of 3 individual modules, the program is taught for 12 months by a qualified staff specializing in the training and development of holistic therapists and teachers. The focus of this training is divided between increasing skill levels as a practitioner working with individuals and groups, clearing out personal issues, “self” care and commitment, advanced forms and techniques of Breath Therapy, Energy Therapy, Psycho-Spiritual and Soul Therapy.

Small groups are formed and work with staff on the topic taught in each module. Assignments are given, and personal growth is emphasized. In each module, we focus on discovering and working with the body’s wisdom, using the mind-body connection as the vehicle for growth and change.
