Journey The Breath
Journey The Breath is a 200-hour trauma-informed breathwork facilitator training designed to support the transition from personal breathwork practitioner to safe, ethical, and confident facilitator.
The training emphasises embodiment, nervous system capacity, and lived experience over technique accumulation or performance. Students develop the ability to hold grounded, regulated space for emotional intensity while facilitating both individual and group breathwork sessions.
Delivered across six months, the program combines self-paced modules, live masterclasses, guided breathwork journeys, and supervised facilitation case studies. Participants complete 16 individual and 4 group facilitation sessions with ongoing mentorship, integration guidance, and supervision.
The curriculum focuses on:
• Trauma-informed facilitation and safety
• Nervous system regulation and practitioner capacity
• Ethical session structure, scope, and professional boundaries
• Holding space for emotional processing and integration
• Facilitating 1:1 and group breathwork sessions (online and in person)
• Developing practitioner confidence through supervised practice
The training culminates in an in-person graduation intensive and is followed by six months of post-certification supervision to support ethical professional integration.
Graduates receive a 200-hour Journey The Breath Facilitator Certification and are eligible to obtain professional insurance, apply for IBF professional membership, and pursue GPBA ethically compliant breathworker status.
Journey The Breath is committed to depth, integrity, and sustainable practitioner development, supporting facilitators to lead from presence, clarity, and nervous system steadiness.
