Ashley Ludman
Ashley Ludman is a breathwork facilitator, educator, and mentor with more than 25 years of experience in therapeutic and integrative healing arts.
Originally trained in the Clarity Breathwork method, she developed The Body of Breath to integrate her foundations in Yogic theory and practice, nervous system repatterning, and energy medicine. Her approach is rooted in non-dual philosophy and a deep respect for the body as a vehicle for transformation and awareness.
Ashley’s professional background began in occupational therapy, specializing in neurological rehabilitation, and later expanded through graduate studies in clinical counseling with a strengths-based approach.
She has engaged in extensive personal and professional work with entheogenic and breath-based healing traditions, including SOMA (lotus root), Santo Daime and ayahuasca, Iboga root, Kambo, Bufo, and psilocybin. Drawing from these experiences, Ashley supports facilitators and communities in integrating plant medicine work through breath-centered practices designed to balance and regulate the nervous system.
Since 2014, Ashley has mentored teachers and practitioners in weaving breathwork into their healing arts and leadership practices. As Coordinator of Global Outreach for the Global Professional Breathwork Alliance (GPBA), she is dedicated to fostering international collaboration, strengthening professional standards, and expanding awareness of breathwork as a global modality for healing and transformation.
Based in Nosara, Costa Rica, Ashley offers retreats, trainings, and mentorship programs in Costa Rica and online.
