Jessica Dibb, Co-director

Jessica Dibb is founder and director of Inspiration Consciousness School and Community, Inc., dedicated to promoting personal, relational and planetary wellness. She is also the Co-director of the GPBA and the Chair of the GPBA Ethics Committee. For over 25 years she has been developing a unique, highly-integrated model of psycho-spiritual healing and growth which supports people’s self-actualization. This multi-dimensional approach includes Breathwork, psycho-dynamic principles, eclectic spiritual practices, somatic awareness and movement, the Enneagram, teachings from several lineages, and emergent wisdom teachings and practices. The multidisciplinary trainings assist people in awakening and cultivating the unfolding of consciousness through all stages of life, from conception and birth through death. She designed and has taught a training program in Psycho-Spiritual Facilitation and Breathwork since 1984. This rigorous and in-depth consciousness program requires 1200+ hours of training over 3-7 years.


Jim Morningstar, Co-director

Jim Morningstar Ph.D., has been a licensed clinical psychologist since 1973 and has directed a community mental health centre. He founded Transformations Incorporated in 1980 and through it directs the School of Integrative Psychology, the Creative Consulting and Counseling Services and the Transformations Breathwork Training Program. He is the past vice-president of the International Breathwork Foundation as well as the former U.S. National Coordinator. He is the author of three books in the field of Breathwork including, “Breaththrough with Breathwork: Jump-starting Personal Growth in Counseling and the Healing Arts.”


Anthony Abbagnano

Anthony Abbagnano founded Alchemy of Breath in 2012. Anthony integrates Breathwork into his other practices in addition to philosophy, Jungian psychology, spirituality, Conscious Loving, hypnotherapy, and Matrix Energetics (the science of wonders) as a result of his uncle Nicola (most famous Italian philosopher) influence.

Anthony has introduced Breathwork into a variety of settings, including festivals, yoga classes, the corporate world, hospitals, prisons, and nursing homes and to the dying. He is also the founder of ASHA in Tuscany, Italy, a center dedicated to community health and emerging consciousness.


Richie Bostock

Richie, or “The Breath Guy”, is a leading figure and evangelist for Breathwork, the next revolution in health and wellness. He is a Breathwork facilitator, author and speaker and it is his mission to spread the life changing possibilities of Breathwork to the world.

Having worn many hats, from a corporate management consultant to digital entrepreneur, Richie eventually discovered Breathwork which was a catalyst for a life changing journey that completely shifted his own life and beliefs on the potential of human beings. Richie spent years traveling across five continents learning from many of the modern day masters of Breathwork and continuously witnessed the transformative effects of when people became aware of their breathing and started to use it as a tool to create physical, mental and emotional benefits.

Richie has taught tens of thousands of people across the world in his workshops, retreats and online events. He works on employee wellbeing initiatives with government departments and companies such as Google, Amazon, Spotify and Unilever.


Binnie A Dansby

Binnie A Dansby began her career in Breathwork in 1975 in New York City. She subsequently incorporated a focus on pre- and peri-natal psychology as a foundation for the theory, principles and practice she has developed. Binnie created, and has been teaching, SOURCE Process and Breathwork since 1988 in England, Germany, Denmark and Estonia. Her 3 to 5 year diploma trainings focus on self-discovery and supervised practitioner training. She has also designed and teaches an approach to birth and birth preparation that continues to produce beneficial results for everyone in the family. She is the author of a DVD, Ecstatic Birth, and numerous papers, articles and CD’s for inner and outer development.


Viola Edward

Viola Edward is a personal & corporate advisor/Mentor. A transcultural psychotherapist & mentor. Breathwork professional lead trainer, formed by Leonard Orr & Tony Lomastro in 1993. She works internationally with individual and corporate clients in cross-pollination self-development, Breathwork, management and leadership.

Pioneer of Emotional Wellness & Mental Health Fitness in the workplace since 1993, CEO/co-owner of GRIT Academy, partner of Creative Women Platform & 3 Startups in Circular Fashion, E-Learning and Health, co-creator of BQ- Breath Intelligence and GRIT Breathwork Method. Author of two books: “Breathing the Rhythm of Success” (1999) and the Amazon Best Sellers “Who Makes the Bed?”(2017) and co-author of twenty two more.

Viola is the president of RGM-Red Global de Mentores (Global Network of Mentors), a board member, social entrepreneur, international connector and serves as ambassador for Human Rights and Gender Equity.


Ann Harrison

Ann is a leader of educational innovation who has developed paradigms of understanding based on timeless Eastern philosophies. For over 25 years she has worked with others to help them expand their knowledge of themselves and life. She has traveled the world and during her 9 years in the East, she studied Tai Chi with Grand Masters in China, meditation with spiritual teachers in India, Nepal and Tibet; and set up her own retreat by the sea in secluded mountain area of Hong Kong. After returning to Australia in the mid 1990′s she collaborated with colleagues to re-establish the professional Breathwork association working as an office bearer for over 10 years. Together with her colleagues she created government accredited Breathwork Trainings as well as Breathwork Trainings International, a government registered training organisation, of which she is a Director and CEO.


Judith Kravitz

Doctor of Metaphysics, ordained minister, and author of the book, Breathe Deep, Laugh Loudly, has worked extensively with the breath as an agent of transformation and healing since the mid 1970s. She has helped hundreds of thousands of people in group and individual sessions, and trained thousands of Breath Facilitators and Trainers. In 1994, she founded the Transformational Breath Foundation and its training programs, and still serves as its Executive Director. A mother of eight, she has taught at the college level, and appeared on 50+ television or radio programs. Her Breathwork has reached into 53 countries, and she has led trainings, workshops, clinics, and master classes, at healing centers and conferences around the world, including The Deepak Chopra Center, Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, Rowe Conference Center, New York Open Center, Omega Institute, Hippocrates Institute, Optimum Health Institute, the Global Inspiration Conference, LifeCo, and many others. Judith has also helped develop the Transformational Breath On Line Academy and its programs.

In addition to her primary focus Transformational Breath®, she has facilitated A Course in Miracles groups, Inner Sensitivity classes, Children’s Yoga, and Woman’s Empowerment Groups. Her approach to the subject of healing is spiritual, professional, loving and dynamic.


Peter M. Litchfield, Ph.D.

Peter earned his Ph.D. in experimental psychology from the University of Portland in 1972. He is currently President of the Professional School of Behavioral Health Sciences (2012-present), a licensed post-secondary school that provides professional certificate, certification, and diploma programs in respiratory psychophysiology and breathing behavior analysis for practitioners in healthcare, human service, and performance enhancement. He is also CEO for Better Physiology Ltd (2000-present), the manufacturer of the CapnoTrainer®, instrumentation now used in more than 60 countries for identifying, disengaging, modifying, and learning breathing habits relevant to improving health and performance. He is a Member of the American Psychological Association and the Society for Psychophysiological Research. His expertise includes behavioral physiology, respiratory psychophysiology, and breathing behavior analysis. Among his most recent publications is the book he co-authored with Sandra Reamer, CapnoLearning: An introductory Guide (2023).


Dr. Ela Manga

Dr. Ela Manga is an integrative medical doctor, author, speaker, facilitator and leading voice in the field of mind-body medicine and Breathwork. She is the founder of Breathwork Africa, an organisation that offers training to Breathwork practitioners globally. Her book BREATHE: Strategising Energy in the Age of Burnout, is a guide for managing energy and optimising physical and mental health. Ela lives and works in Johannesburg, South Africa.


Alice Wells

Alice Wells has been in practice as an Inspiration Consciousness School Certified Integrative Breathwork Practitioner since 1994. She has served as the senior supervisor for Breathwork trainees at Inspiration, as well as designing and teaching an innovative class in Breathwork and dreams. Alice is also the founder of One Breath Circle in Brooklyn, New York. Her multi-dimensional training includes Eastern and Western philosophies in spiritual traditions, modern depth psychology, the expressive arts and Shin Tai Shiatsu which has she has been a practitioner of since 1987. She also co-founded and staffed at Fairhaven School, the first Sudbury model school in the state of Maryland. Alice has been a board member of the GPBA since 2005, and served as Secretary for several years.


Jeremy Youst

Jeremy is a certified Breathwork practitioner and the founder/director of the internationally accredited Power of Breath Institute. Since 1989, Jeremy has trained in various methods of Breathwork, from Rebirthing, to Transformational Breath, Holotropic, and the Butekyo method. The Power of Breath Institute specializes in delivering high integrity Therapeutic Breathwork training to individuals and professionals who wish to become certified Breathworkers through its 2-year training program. Jeremy’s profound commitment to a ‘walk the talk’ therapeutic approach and healthy embodiment has made him not only successful in accompanying thousands of individuals on their healing journeys, but also has helped him craft a state-of-the-art curriculum for Breathwork practitioners. Jeremy’s style of training and empowerment is dedicated to a heart-centered approach. Jeremy has extensively advanced his knowledge of the art and science of the full spectrum of Breathwork (from stress release to non-ordinary states of consciousness) through research, continuing education, and a personal commitment to self-development. In 2005 he became a board member of the Global Professional Breathwork Alliance. In addition to a full workshop and training schedule, Jeremy currently maintains a private practice in Shelburne Falls, MA.

Dana~Dharma Devi DeLong

Dana~Dharma Devi DeLong is the co-founder and co-pioneer of Clarity Breathwork and owner of Clarity Productions, producing seminars, retreats, and performing for musical events & festivals around the globe. Dana is an inspiring speaker, musician, seminar facilitator, and leader who has taught internationally since 1984. Working with hundreds of individuals, couples, and groups, Dana shares her experience, wisdom, and compassion as a Clarity Breathwork Trainer and Practitioner in Private Practice, and is a respected member of the Global Breathwork community.


Tilke Platteel-Deur

Since 1979, Tilke Platteel-Deur has been practicing and teaching Breathwork, Voice Dialogue, NLP and the dynamics of relationship, in Holland, Germany, France and Spain. She has long-standing experience in both individual and group work as breathwork therapist, coach, supervisor and trainer. She studied the Psychology of Selves with Hal and Sidra Stone, NLP, Family Constellations, Polarity Therapy and Massage. She is an Avatar Master. From 2001-2004 she has been president of the International Breathwork Foundation.

She co-founded and co-leads the Institute for Integrative Breath Therapy, which offers a four-year training program for breathwork (Since 1986, the ‘Institut für Ganzheitliche Integrative Atemtherapie’® is registered in Europe)

Author of ‘The Art of Integrative Therapy’ – der Rheinländer, as well as several articles on Breathwork, among which ‘Hot Water Breathwork’ and ‘Cold Water Breathwork’, and the ‘Psychology of Selves’ that were published in the internet journal ‘The Healing Breath’ and in ‘Atman’.


Ashanna Solaris

Ashanna Solaris is a practitioner, trainer, co-founder and pioneer of the profound practice of Clarity Breathwork ~ a gentle nurturing feminine approach to healing, transformation and embodiment. She has led hundreds of trainings, workshops and retreats around the world. She both trains practitioners and leads individuals through a powerful path of releasing their blocks so they can open to and live their greater potential. Ashanna brings a wealth of experience and training with 30 plus years in the healing arts integrating Breathwork, Light Body Meditation, Reiki & Energy Healing, Somatic Experiencing, Ritual, dance and movement. Ashanna has a deep passion to inspire others to live their fullest potential & give their greatest offering.


Judee Gee (in Memoriam)

Following tertiary studies of Naturopathy and Chinese Medicine in Australia (1977-79), Judee trained in a diverse range of body/mind techniques (shiatsu, deep-tissue massage, breathwork), metaphysics (intuitive perception, psychic healing) and transpersonal approaches (meditation, soul psychotherapy) in the San Francisco Bay Area, USA (1980-81). She began teaching professionally oriented therapist trainings in the fields of intuitive development and breathwork in the USA and Australia in the early 1980′s. From 1988 to 2023 she was based in the South of France where she co-directed the Integral Consciousness Training, a five-year professional therapist training specialising in conscious breathwork and transpersonal psychotherapy. Author of ” Le pouvoir de l’intuition “, Editions Recto-Verseau, Suisse 1989, ” Comment développer votre intuition “, Editions Dangles, France 1995 et ” Intuition: Awakening your inner guide ” Samuel Weiser Inc., 1999. President of the International Breathwork Foundation (1998 – 2001), and member of the IBF Integrity Committee (2004 – 2006).

The GPBA will be eternally grateful to Judee for her guidance about excellence and organization in our formative years, and her unwavering support of the GPBA throughout the culminating 22 years of her life. We appreciate the advice and support she gave to Jim and Jessica in a consultation on January 17th, 2023. Her contributions to elevating the practice of Breathwork have been invaluable to the Breathwork Field and will live on.
