GPBA Breathworker Membership

 

By joining the GPBA, you establish yourself as a Breathworker who has received exemplary training and substantial practical experience.

GPBA membership also signals that you are holding yourself to the highest of ethical standards in the practice of Breathwork – for Breathers and the Breathwork community.

You also receive special benefits, including access to a growing international community of exceptional Breathwork practitioners.

Currently, there are two types of membership and certification: Certified Professional Breathwork Practitioner and Ethically Compliant Breathwork Facilitator.

Membership Requirements and Benefits

GPBA membership requirements and benefits differ depending on the type of membership and certification:

GPBA Certified Professional Breathwork Practitioner

Requirements: Requires at least 400 hrs and 2 yrs of Breathwork training, 8 hours of Ethics training, and adherence to GPBA’s Code of Ethics.

  • Digital badge and certificate for GPBA Certified Professional Breathwork Practitioner

  • Digital badge and certificate for GPBA Ethically Compliant Breathwork Facilitator

  • Eligible to post events/workshops (coming soon)

  • Eligible to submit blog posts

GPBA Ethically Compliant Breathwork Facilitator

Requirements: At least 50 hrs and 9 months of Breathwork training, 8 hours of Ethics training and adherence to GPBA’s Code of Ethics.

Applying for Membership

If you graduated from a GPBA Certified Professional Breathwork School…

you automatically qualify for GPBA Certified Professional Breathwork Practitioner certification and membership.

Annual Fee: $75

Application Fee: $20

If you did not graduate from a GPBA Certified Professional Breathwork School…

but have completed 400 hours and 2 years of training, including 8 hours of ethics training, you may apply for GPBA Certified Professional Breathwork Practitioner certification and membership.

Annual Fee: $75

Application Fee: $20

If you have had at least 50 hours of Breathwork training and 8 hours of ethics training during a minimum 9 month period…

you may apply for GPBA Ethically Compliant Breathwork Facilitator certification and membership.

Annual Fee: $50

Application Fee: $20
