Jessica Dibb, Co-President
Jessica Dibb is the founder and director of Inspiration Consciousness School and Community, Inc., dedicated to promoting personal, relational, and planetary wellness. She is also the Co-President of the GPBA and the Chair of the GPBA Ethics Committee. For over 25 years, she has developed a unique, highly-integrated model of psycho-spiritual healing and growth that supports self-actualization. This multi-dimensional approach includes Breathwork, psycho-dynamic principles, eclectic spiritual practices, somatic awareness, movement, the Enneagram, teachings from several lineages, and emergent wisdom practices. She designed and has taught a training program in Psycho-Spiritual Facilitation and Breathwork since 1984, requiring 1200+ hours of training over 3-7 years.
Jim Morningstar, Co-President
Jim Morningstar, Ph.D., has been a licensed clinical psychologist since 1973 and has directed a community mental health center. He founded Transformations Incorporated in 1980 and directs the School of Integrative Psychology, Creative Consulting and Counseling Services, and the Transformations Breathwork Training Program. He is a past vice-president of the International Breathwork Foundation and former U.S. National Coordinator. He is the author of three books on Breathwork, including "Breakthrough with Breathwork: Jump-starting Personal Growth in Counseling and the Healing Arts."
Binnie A Dansby
Binnie A Dansby began her Breathwork career in 1975 in New York City, incorporating pre- and peri-natal psychology into her work. She developed and has taught SOURCE Process and Breathwork since 1988 across Europe. Her 3-5 year diploma trainings focus on self-discovery and practitioner training. Binnie is also the author of "Ecstatic Birth" and several other educational resources for personal development.
Viola Edward
Viola Edward is a transcultural psychotherapist, corporate advisor, and Breathwork professional. She is a pioneer in emotional wellness and mental health in the workplace, the CEO/co-owner of GRIT Academy, and a co-creator of BQ-Breath Intelligence and GRIT Breathwork Method. She has authored two books, "Breathing the Rhythm of Success" and "Who Makes the Bed?", and is involved in social entrepreneurship and international advocacy for Human Rights and Gender Equity.
Ann Harrison
Ann is a leader in educational innovation, blending Eastern philosophies with Western practices. Over the past 25 years, she has helped expand the knowledge of Breathwork globally. She co-founded Breathwork Trainings International, where she serves as Director and CEO. Ann has studied Tai Chi, meditation, and other spiritual disciplines around the world, and is a strong advocate for the expansion of Breathwork training.
Judith Kravitz
Judith Kravitz, Doctor of Metaphysics and author of "Breathe Deep, Laugh Loudly," has worked with the breath as a healing modality since the 1970s. She is the founder of the Transformational Breath Foundation and continues to serve as its Executive Director. Judith has helped countless individuals through Breathwork and has led trainings and workshops worldwide, including at renowned centers such as the Omega Institute and Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health.
Peter M. Litchfield, Ph.D.
Peter Litchfield, Ph.D., is the President of the Professional School of Behavioral Health Sciences and the CEO of Better Physiology Ltd. He is a leading expert in respiratory psychophysiology and breathing behavior analysis, with over 50 years of experience. Peter is the co-author of the book "CapnoLearning: An Introductory Guide" and has developed training programs used in over 60 countries to improve health and performance through better breathing.
Alice Wells
Alice Wells has been a certified Integrative Breathwork Practitioner since 1994 and is the founder of One Breath Circle in Brooklyn, New York. Her training spans Eastern and Western spiritual traditions, depth psychology, and expressive arts. Alice has served as a board member of the GPBA since 2005 and helped create government-accredited Breathwork training programs in Australia.

Anthony Abbagnano
Anthony Abbagnano founded Alchemy of Breath in 2012. He integrates Breathwork into various practices such as philosophy, Jungian psychology, spirituality, Conscious Loving, hypnotherapy, and Matrix Energetics. Anthony has introduced Breathwork to diverse settings, including festivals, yoga classes, corporate environments, hospitals, prisons, and nursing homes. He is also the founder of ASHA, a center dedicated to community health and emerging consciousness in Tuscany, Italy.
Richie Bostock
Richie, or “The Breath Guy,” is a leading evangelist for Breathwork and a prominent facilitator, author, and speaker. His mission is to spread the life-changing possibilities of Breathwork worldwide. After transitioning from a corporate management consultant and digital entrepreneur, Richie discovered Breathwork, which transformed his life. He has since taught tens of thousands of people through workshops, retreats, and online events. Richie also works on employee wellbeing initiatives with government departments and companies such as Google, Amazon, Spotify, and Unilever.
Dana~Dharma Devi DeLong
Dana~Dharma Devi DeLong is the co-founder and co-pioneer of Clarity Breathwork and owner of Clarity Productions, producing seminars, retreats, and performing for musical events and festivals around the globe. Dana is an inspiring speaker, musician, seminar facilitator, and leader who has taught internationally since 1984. Working with hundreds of individuals, couples, and groups, Dana shares her experience, wisdom, and compassion as a Clarity Breathwork Trainer and Practitioner in Private Practice, and is a respected member of the Global Breathwork community.
Tilke Platteel-Deur
Since 1979, Tilke Platteel-Deur has been practicing and teaching Breathwork, Voice Dialogue, NLP, and the dynamics of relationships in Holland, Germany, France, and Spain. She has extensive experience in individual and group work as a breathwork therapist, coach, supervisor, and trainer. She studied the Psychology of Selves with Hal and Sidra Stone, NLP, Family Constellations, Polarity Therapy, and Massage. She co-founded and co-leads the Institute for Integrative Breath Therapy, which offers a four-year training program for Breathwork. She is also the author of several articles on Breathwork, including 'Hot Water Breathwork' and 'Cold Water Breathwork'.
Dr. Ela Manga
Dr. Ela Manga is an integrative medical doctor, author, and founder of Breathwork Africa. Her book, "BREATHE: Strategising Energy in the Age of Burnout," focuses on managing energy for optimal health. Ela trains Breathwork practitioners globally and continues to contribute to the field of mind-body medicine.
Ashanna Solaris
Ashanna Solaris is a practitioner, trainer, and co-founder of Clarity Breathwork, a gentle and nurturing approach to healing, transformation, and embodiment. She has led hundreds of trainings, workshops, and retreats around the world, guiding individuals to release their blocks and live their full potential. With over 30 years in the healing arts, Ashanna integrates Breathwork, Light Body Meditation, Reiki, Somatic Experiencing, Ritual, dance, and movement to inspire others to live their greatest lives.
Judee Gee (in Memoriam)
Following studies of Naturopathy and Chinese Medicine in Australia (1977-79), Judee trained in a range of body/mind techniques, including shiatsu, deep-tissue massage, Breathwork, intuitive perception, and soul psychotherapy in the San Francisco Bay Area, USA (1980-81). From 1988 to 2023, she co-directed the Integral Consciousness Training, a five-year professional therapist training in the South of France, specializing in conscious Breathwork and transpersonal psychotherapy. Judee authored several books, including “Intuition: Awakening your inner guide” (1999) and served as President of the International Breathwork Foundation (1998-2001).
The GPBA will be eternally grateful to Judee for her guidance in our formative years and unwavering support throughout her life. Her contributions to elevating the practice of Breathwork have been invaluable and will continue to inspire the field.
