GPBA Directory of Certified and Ethically Compliant Breathwork Schools, Programs, and Practitioners

A GPBA Certified Professional Breathwork School or Program (minimum 400 hours of curriculum taught over a 2 year period) has undergone rigorous evaluation to ensure it meets GPBA’s high standards for Breathwork training and ethics. These schools have been established for at least two years and offer one or more training programs that are GPBA-certified. Certified programs meet comprehensive educational standards to prepare students for professional Breathwork practice.

GPBA Certified Professional Breathwork Practitioners are individuals who have completed extensive GPBA-recognized training (minimum 400 hours of curriculum taught over a 2 year period) and adhere strictly to the GPBA Code of Ethics. These practitioners are equipped to provide high-quality, certified Breathwork services and have met GPBA’s professional standards, making them qualified resources for Breathwork sessions and training.

A GPBA Ethically Compliant Breathwork Program is a training program that meets ethical standards set by GPBA, even if it does not fulfill the full professional certification requirements. These programs include at least 75-100 hours of Breathwork training over nine months and provide at least 8 hours of ethics education, ensuring participants receive a foundational education in ethical Breathwork practice.

GPBA Ethically Compliant Breathworkers are practitioners who have committed to the GPBA Code of Ethics and completed at least 50 hours of Breathwork training along with 8 hours of ethics training. While they may not meet GPBA-certified professional standards, they incorporate Breathwork into their practice in an ethically responsible manner.
